We have a few suggestions!
- Because developing AdBlock is harder than we make it look.
- Because without payments from happy users, we couldn't go on developing AdBlock.
- Because we're not a big company with lots of corporate sponsors. We're a tiny company with five full-time employees who would really like to pay our bills, too. :)
- Because every payment comes with a great big thank-you from all of us at AdBlock.
- Because it's the right thing to do!
We leave it up to you to decide how much it's worth to you to get ad-free web browsing, better-looking web pages, and pages that load faster. We ask you to pay if you can afford it, based on the honor system. If you don't pay, there is no penalty. You will get ad blocking and customer support either way, and paying users don't get their feature requests implemented faster.
When it comes right down to it, we really can't tell you why you should pay. We just think you'll be a teeny bit happier if you do. Or at least we will :)
