If you have disabled AdBlock (or if AdBlock isn't even installed), and you've tried reloading the page but you're still seeing a "turn off your ad blocker" notification, then something else on your computer is causing the notification to appear.
First check for another extension:
The primary reason the notification continues to appear is another extension that prevents JavaScript from running, hides ads, or blocks trackers and cookies. First, try disabling all your other ad-blocking or privacy extensions (e.g., Malwarebytes, DuckDuckGo, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, Norton AntiTrack, etc.).
Use the steps below for the browser you are using to view your list of extensions:
-
In Chrome and Edge, enter about:extensions in the address bar.
-
In Safari, go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions (or look in the Launchpad for an ad-blocking app).
-
In Firefox, enter about:addons in the address bar.
If you don't immediately see an extension that could be causing the problem, try toggling all of your extensions to Off, reloading the page, and seeing if the anti-adblock notification still appears. If it doesn't appear, turn each extension back on one at a time, reloading the page each time, to identify the extension causing the notification.
If it's not another extension, check the following:
-
In some cases, cybersecurity or VPN software can trigger a site to display the notices as well. Try disabling these types of software and see if the notifications continue to display.
-
If you are using private mode or an incognito window, make sure AdBlock is enabled: Using AdBlock in incognito or private mode.
-
Clear the site's cookies and reload the page.
