How do I unpause AdBlock and block ads again?

Chrome, Firefox and Edge

AdBlock allows you to pause ad blocking any time, or you can add websites to your allowlist to allow ads every time you visit. This is handy for sites that you visit frequently if they don't allow ad blockers. If you've previously added a website to your allowlist but want to remove it (and stop allowing ads to show on that site), click the AdBlock toolbar icon and select Unpause AdBlock.

If the site was added to your allowlist via the option to pause always, you can use the steps above or you can manually remove it:

  1. Click the AdBlock toolbar icon and select the gear symbol.
  2. On the Customize tab next to "Manually edit your filters," click Edit.
  3. Delete all filter rules that contain the name of the site you've allowlisted
  4. Click Save.
  5. Reload the page where you want to block ads.
