The following information is for AdBlock desktop extensions on Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
- For the AdBlock for Safari Mac app visit: Allowlisting, Pausing, and Disabling AdBlock for Safari.

Where can I view my allowlist?
- Click the AdBlock icon on your browser's toolbar. If you don't see it, be sure to pin it.
- Click the gear icon.
- Click on the Customize tab.
Under Manually edit your filters you'll see a box with a list of any filter rules you've created and sites you've allowlisted. In the example below, nytimes.com has been allowlisted:
Add or remove a site on your allowlist
There are two ways to add or remove a site on your allowlist:
Via the AdBlock menu (Easy)
To add a site:
- Visit the site you want to add.
- Click the AdBlock icon on your browser's toolbar. If you don't see it, be sure to pin it.
- Click the More icon (three dots).
- Click Always allow ads on this site.
The page will refresh and ads will display. The site will also appear on your allowlist.
To remove a site:
- Visit the site you want to remove.
- Click the AdBlock icon on your browser's toolbar. If you don't see it, be sure to pin it.
- Click Resume Ad Blocking.
The page will refresh and ads will be blocked. The site will no longer appear on your allowlist.
Manually add or remove a site (Advanced)
To add a site:
- Create an exception rule: How to write filters
- Click the AdBlock icon on your browser's toolbar. If you don't see it, be sure to pin it.
- Click the gear icon.
- On the Customize tab, click Edit.
- Paste your exception rule in the box.
- Click Save.
- To ensure your changes are reflected, reload the website where you want to see ads.
To remove a site:
- Click the AdBlock icon on your browser's toolbar.
- Click the gear icon.
- On the Customize tab, click Edit.
- Look for any lines in the box that contain the name of the website and delete them.
- Click Save.
- To ensure your changes are reflected, reload the website where you no longer want to see ads.
