Using AdBlock in incognito or private mode

In Safari, private mode doesn't disable extensions, so there's nothing special you need to do to use AdBlock in private mode. In Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge, however, extensions don't always run in private or incognito mode by default. You may need to enable them. To make AdBlock work in private or incognito mode:

Chrome
  1. Enter chrome://extensions in the address bar.
  2. Under AdBlock in the extensions list, click Details.
  3. Scroll down and click the toggle switch next to Allow in incognito.
Firefox
  1. Enter about:addons in the address bar.
  2. Next to AdBlock in the extensions list, click the three dots and select Manage.
  3. Scroll down to Run in Private Windows and select Allow.
Edge
  1. Enter edge://extensions in the address bar.
  2. Under AdBlock in the extensions list, click Details.
  3. Scroll down and click the option next to Allow in InPrivate.
